Bachelor of Arts - Business Administration, emphasis in accounting, California State University of Fullerton. Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Member of the AICPA and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Previous Professional Background
Ed's experience at several small CPA firms included tax preparation for Individuals, C-Corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships, LLC's, and Trusts (no estate or gift). Prior work experience included individuals with net worth in excess of $20 million, Corporate clientele ranged from closely held corporations to publicly traded companies.
In addition, Ed has performed transactional planning and tax research, prepared annual compilations, reviews and audits. He has also performed other business related services including: Payroll (and related) compliance, Monthly, quarterly and annual write up work and Sales tax compliance. From time-to-time, Ed has been involved in various consulting projects for the small business client.
Ed's experience comes from dealing directly with the client and/or the client's bookkeeper. He takes pride in the quality and timeliness of service that he provides to his clients, and makes it a point to try to return phone calls and e-mails the same day.
Ed's goal is reflected in the firm's Mission Statement, "To provide quality tax, accounting, and other business services to our clients on a timely basis for a reasonable fee while helping our clients succeed and improve personally and professionally."
